Good morning precious ones!

What do you feel in your soul when you say these words, "I am precious in His sight." This morning, these words have been repeated over and over in my mind. The result is that I believe it! The more I speak, say it out loud, the stronger I feel. So, why not let Holy Spirit be the One to esteem us and encourage us instead of trying to hear what other people would say?

What makes us precious? I believe there is only one way to find this out; to seek the heart of God. Romans 8:16..."The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God." First and foremost. If we were called before a judge about the character of another person we would give witness of what we know. Holy Spirit witnesses, testifies that we belong to God. If you don't think you can stand before The Judge take time right now to enter into His lovingkindness. Psalm 36:7..."How precious is Your steadfast love, O God! The children of men take refuge and put their trust under the shadow of Your wings."

To be precious we have to take refuge with The Precious. We find that even unto death we are precious. Psalm 116:15..."Precious (important and no light matter) in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (His loving ones)."  From before we were born till the day we die. Read all of Psalm 139 and see His care in forming you. Then read Ephesians 1:4..."Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love."

This is so far above what I can comprehend! Amazing that God eternal knew me from the foundation of the world and chose me, saw me, kept me from then to this very moment! Is there any god made that can take the place of Almighty God? NO! I pray that today whether we have a stony path or a grassy path that we each could say, "I am precious in His sight."

You may be facing an unknown diagnosis, waiting for that phone call that could change everything. You might be alone, feeling forsaken by family and friends because of what you believe. You could be like I was dealing with depression and constant lies from the enemies mouth. As often as you come to the Lord Jesus with all of it, I can promise you that He will always remind you of your worth to Him. As a prisoner chained to a wall the apostle Paul listened to the voice of Holy Spirit reassuring him that he is precious to God. What did he do to respond? He lifted up his voice in praise. It may have started in weakness but as he sang his voice grew stronger. We can be like that!

So, today, take the words, "I am precious in His sight." Make them your own! As you speak you too will feel the strength of the Lord flowing into your situation. It's okay to let the tears fall down your cheeks. It's okay to begin with a whisper. Just begin. Remember this, "But [you were purchased] with the precious blood of Christ (the Messiah), like that of a [sacrificial] lamb without blemish or spot." He is precious so you can know you are precious. Agree?

Abundance is...I am precious in His sight!
