 Dear brothers and sisters,

Would you like to be restored? How about an overhaul? A new revised edition of your story? Maybe, reshaped? These are words that relate to the word we are looking into today.

Nature may have destroyed your home. Or you were cheated out of something you had every right to. Instead your story took a shift and ended up with insane troubles. Your body is even out of control and needs to be RENEWed. Where are you at today?

As always, we can turn to the One Who made us. He holds the blueprints to our life plan in His capable hands. But, you have to believe it. Otherwise, there are always classes to improve your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being aren't there? Books may lie partially read as you sought answers to soothe your troubled mind and soul. Do they work? Sometimes, but never without the intervention of God's own hands.

Someone told me that I should take a counseling course so I can help others and get paid for it. I thought that was odd. Why not just go to God for wisdom and apply it to my own issues, then He will make the appointments? Works for me! Without charge.

Psalm 51:10 says, "Create in me a clean heart, O God, and RENEW a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me." First comes a clean heart.

I find myself praying this everyday from Psalm 103:5 but you must start with verse 1 for the full impact in this. Prayerfully, then on to verse 5..."Who satisfies your mouth [your necessity and desire at your personal age and situation] with good so that your youth, RENEWed, is like the eagle's [strong, overcoming, soaring]!"

What ever your age or situation you can experience RENEWal at it's best as you Bless the Lord and never forget all His benefits! Rejoicing right where you are.

Lamentations 5:21 says, "Turn us to Yourself, O Lord, and we shall be turned and restored! RENEW our days as of old!" In Jesus name, amen.

There are things we have to do too, in agreement with the will of God. Romans 12:2 is a big one..."Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] RENEWal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]."

Did you get all that? Read it one more time! Because this is from the Amplified version I haven't memorized it all. But, it can be easily memorized in something like the New American Standard version...your pick. It is good arsenol against any onslaught of the enemy!

We have another promise found in 2 Corinthians 4:16..."Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] RENEWed day after day." I might add !!!

Sin is a wasting disease sent from the enemy after our souls. But, hand that sin over to Jesus Christ and the promise is for a RENEWal of heart, mind, soul and strenth. Enough to love God with!

Colossians 3:10 reminds me of a brand new wardrobe..."And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] RENEWed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it." A likeness to Jesus? Yes, I want that! And a perfect fit every time!

Now to pull this all together I found Titus 3:5..."He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and RENEWing of the Holy Spirit." It's time to soak now.

So, come Holy Spirit we need You to bring us into completeness, RENEW our hearts and minds today. Lift us up and plant in us the desire to follow the paths of the Lord. Turning our everyday into constant RENEWal and restoration. We need You Lord. Make us like You Jesus. Amen.

This has been a bit long today but, isn't the Word of God sweet? I simply could not function without Him. Be blessed and find your hearts desires in Him today. Your sister in Christ, Patricia.

Abundance is...all of the above!
