 Dear brothers and sisters,

WE are in Christ Jesus! WE belong to the family of God! Doesn't this stir your soul to worship? If you are wondering about this whole eternal life thing, stayed tuned.

God has made provision, perfect testimony of our salvation and solid proof that we have eternal life through His Son. Testimony of the three in one; Father, Son and Holy Spirit will never be altered. The truth that set you free is the Truth that will lead you right through heaven's gate. Why not accept the facts?

In 1 John 5:10-13 tells us, "He who believes in the son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] has the testimony [possesses this divine attestation] within himself. He who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him out to be and represented Him as a liar, because he has not believed (put his faith in adhered to, and relied on) the evidence (the testimony) that God has borne regarding His Son." What do you attain to? Who do you represent?

"And this is that testimony (that evidence): God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who possesses the Son has that life; he who does not possess the Son of God does not have that life."

This sounds pretty forthright to me. Simple too. For some maybe, too simple. Why do we try to make more of truth and not accept it for what the Word of God says? Are you still trying to work your way to heaven? Is there more to this life that God isn't telling us? No. He has spoken through His Word all that we need to know. No more debate.

"I write this to you who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) the name of the Son of God [in peculiar services and blessings conferred by Him on men], so that you may know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that you [already] have life, yes eternal life." Praise the Lord!

Are you still with me? Do you understand the incredible freedom we have while walking this journey? We don't have to fear. We do not have to doubt anymore. We come freely into the presence of God the Father as often as we want. We do not have to wait to talk to Him, ever.

The verdict is in. If you are saved by Jesus Christ then, you have eternal life. His Spirit resides in you, the temple of God. In every situation, He is with you. Regardless of circumstances there is hope, joy and peace to attend you. Pause and think about this.

Is God calling your name today? Is there a task He is placing on your heart to do? Big question...will you do it? If it is the Father speaking, then He will confirm it by His Word and Spirit.

God gives us evidences all around us. For instance, today is the first day of Spring. The evidence is the Robins have returned by the numbers. The geese are flying in, getting ready to make their homes on the pond. Yet, without that, it still appears to be winter here. Yes, the sky is clear and the sun shining but snow still sits on the ground by several inches. So, what do I believe?

I believe and stand in hope that the plans of God are within His creation. Those birds and water fowl have a timetable set for Spring! Somehow, and it amazes me, they just seem to know.

I also believe that the day when we will hear the trump of God sound is ever nearer. So you feel the stirring of His Spirit in you to look up? The evidence is in the signs of our times. The incredible evil leashed among men by the enemy. The horrific weather changes. The unrest in nations all around the world. All are evidence. Soon we will see Him face to face!

We don't have to look back. We look forward don't we? Without Christ, we have no hope and no future reward in heaven. We need the Lord and we need to share the gospel of peace with others. wE have no greater purpose in being here. All for the glory of God!

As we close for today please remember to pray for those around you. Ask God to open your eyes to see their need of Him and the opportunity to share the Love of Christ. Pray, pray pray for the will of the Lord to be accomplished through your life. WE will make a difference. In the matchless name of Jesus, amen. The Lord bless you and keep you. Your sister in Christ, Patricia.

Abundance is...eternal life in Jesus
